You have to admit that this is pretty humourous when you look at it in a glance:

The Ipoh City Council has now taken its turn to fuss over Perak’s democracy plaque, claiming that the structure was an obstruction in a public area.

The council pinned a notice on the “Democracy Tree” late yesterday evening, informing the “owner” of the plaque to remove the monument within 24 hours before it gets destroyed.

Pakatan Rakyat has chosen to laugh at the council’s method of serving the notice to the tree instead of to an individual however, and said that it would ignore the notice.

“None of us, not one person from any PR party, received the notice.

“The notice was addressed to the owner of the plaque and yet the council served it to the tree, as if the tree owns the plaque.

“In that case, I guess they expect the tree to take heed of their notice and destroy the plaque,” joked Perak DAP secretary Nga Kor Ming to reporters at a press conference today.

Well, I guess the tree could say to the Ipoh council, “BITE ME!”

There was a little boy, who woke up three nights in a row when he heard thumping sound coming from his parents’ bedroom. Finally, one morning he goes to his mom and says, “Mommy, every night I hear you and daddy making noises and when I look in your bedroom, you are bouncing up and down on him.”

His mother was taken by surprise but replies, “Oh, well I’m bouncing on his stomach because he’s fat and that makes him thin again.”

And the boy says, “Well, that won’t work!”

His mom says, “Why?”

And the boy replies, “Because the lady next door comes by after you leave each day, and blows him back up…”

A married yoga master meets a beautiful girl and agrees to spend the night with her for $500. He spends the night with her but before he leaves, he tells her that he does not have any cash with him, but he will have his secretary write a check and mail it to her, calling the payment “RENT FOR APARTMENT”.

On the way to the office he regrets what he has done, realizing that the whole event was not worth the price. So he has his secretary send a check for $250 and enclosed the following typed note:

Dear Madam:

Enclosed you will find a check in the amount of $250 for rent of your Apartment. I am not sending the amount agreed upon, because when I Rented the apartment, I was under the impression that:

1) it had never been occupied,
2) that there was plenty of heat, and
3) that it was small enough to make me feel cozy and at home.

However, I found out that it had been previously occupied, that there wasn’t any heat, and that it was entirely too large.

Upon receipt of the note, the girl immediately returned the check for $250 with the following note:

Dear YOGA MASTER Sir,

First of all, I cannot understand how you expect a beautiful apartment to remain unoccupied indefinitely. As for the heat, there is plenty of it, if you know how to turn it on. Regarding the space, the apartment is indeed of regular size, but if you don’t have enough furniture to fill it, please don’t blame the landlady.

Send the rent in full or we will be forced to contact your present landlady.

A girl in New Zealand is getting her name “Talula Does The Hula From Hawaii” legally changed to something else. Sounds too weird to be true? Believe it.

WELLINGTON (Reuters) – A young girl so embarrassed by being called “Talula Does the Hula from Hawaii” has won a new name from a family court judge in New Zealand.

Judge Rob Murfitt, ruling from the city of New Plymouth on New Zealand’s North Island, made the youngster a ward of court so that she could change the name that she hates.

If you haven’t watched it already, this new sequel to the reboot of the Batman series is certainly a must-watch! It tells how The Joker orchestrated the mayhem and chaos in Gotham City and giving rise to a new villian which I hope will make it in the third film. But that will be telling too much if I inform you on who the villian is. Anyway, watch The Dark Knight today at the nearest theater, you won’t regret it I can tell you that!
