Sex scandal prompts Hong Kong celebrity Edison Chen to quit
Hong Kong actor / singer Edison Chen made his first public appearance since his sex scandal broke earlier today, announcing its distance from the strengthening of the show to heal itself.
“I would now like to apologize to all the people of all the suffering that has caused the problems that have arisen from this,” Edison said during a press conference. “I want to apologize to all the ladies and all their families for damages or injuries that have been feeling. Sorry.”
1300 Edison explicit photographs with a string of Hong Kong pop stars and starlets flooded the Internet in recent weeks. The images were copied by staff of a shop repair of a laptop computer from defective believed to belong to Edison.
“These photos were very private and were not shown to people and were never intended to be shown to anyone,” the 27-year-old said. “I have failed as a role model. However, I would like the issue will teach you all a lesson. To do so I decided to give myself the chance to heal myself and my soul for research. Let me dedicate my time charity and community work within the next few months. ”
Ten arrests in connection with the scandal has already been made by police in Hong Kong.
