How To Repair A Sliding Truck Seat?
When have a truck then you could have some problems just like all cars will have because a lot of the times it will be that you are using your car almost every day on long haul journeys and you could get some problems including your seat becoming loose meaning that you are going to have to fix this so that your seat doesn’t keep moving but rather remain in place. If you have an adjustable seat then you could get a lot of problems with this even if you think that you have the perfect seating plan. Your truck seat could slide out of position and become a real pain. If you have some car tools then you can repair your seat yourself. Here is how you could do this.
What you are going to have to get some tools and materials, such as:
1. A ratchet
2. A wrench
3. Some sockets
4. A T50 Torx Head
Your first step will be to start off by finding your joints and begin to oil them; to repair your siding truck seat then you could start off by oiling your metal joints meaning that if you wish to adjust your seat then you can and put it in place without having to worry about it moving about.
Your next step will be to start adjusting your joints; now you find that your seat still moves then you are going to have to adjust your joints. You are going to need your wrench to do this so your metal joints will be able to tighten or loosen so that you can move them around and put them back in to place; if you find that your metal joints are broken then you are going to have to replace them.
They could be broken so you will have to get a new one installed; you might need to go to your local garage then you could get them to fix or replace the joints from there.
Your next step will be to remove your slide bracket and your seat; your truck seat might be removed because of the repair work to your slide bracket. This means that you are going to have to find any electric connections of your seat; you will have to remove them so that you can remove your seat which could be somewhere at the bottom of your seat.
You will need a ratchet to remove your bracket and then your Torx bolts also will need to be removed as these will attach your slider to your seat.
Your fourth step will be to put your seat back in and install your new slider bracket; now you need to put your bracket back into place with your slider. You will need to secure your bolts into place again so you need to take your wrench to keep your bolts secure and in place; you can now put the seat into your truck again and make sure that you get everything back into its original place again.
The four bolts that you removed earlier will have to be replaced and secured so take your ratchet to tighten them up.

Third-row access is from the passenger side, where the second-row seat moves forward to allow walk-in access to the third row.
